Our Quality Promise
Discovering a quality control issue with a print is never enjoyable, and many labs suffer from lack of quality control and personal involvement. We've BEEN THERE. We (Tung and Jeff) are print experts and will keep you updated through the process so there's no surprises. We prefer local pickup or dropoff so you can see the print immediately, and to avoid involving shipping carriers so there is little opportunity for post-production damage.
We individually inspect each print before it leaves our studio. If there's an issue with the print, we'll almost always catch it. If we discover anything that doesn't meet our standards, we'll either trigger an automatic remake, or we’ll let you know and give you the choice. If you manage to catch something that we didn't, we'll be impressed, and we'll gladly take care of you.
Due to the custom-created nature of our products, we are generally unable to accept returns, unless the issue's our fault.

You choose how much we'll chase perfection
Handcrafted prints are an art, not a commodity. No two pieces of wood moulding look the same, and no roll of paper, canvas, or overlaminate that arrives to us completely flawless.
The truth is, many high-volume labs have largely abandoned meaningful quality control to optimize for throughput, preferring to ship nearly every print and let customer service handle the reprint requests.
As a boutique lab, we've chosen a different path. We believe in transparency and open communication, and we want to align our expectations directly with yours. If you want us to let our obsession with perfection run wild, just let us know and we'll allocate the shop time and materials accordingly.
We offer the following quality and inspection tiers:

You expect:
"I expect a professional, beautiful finished print that my clients will be proud to display in a real-world viewing environment."
We provide:
- Our typical handcrafted production process and fine art printing standard
- Professional quality control inspections in standard, real-world viewing environments
- Very minor surface variations, tiny dust specks and subtle irregularities that aren't apparent under ordinary viewing are considered acceptable as part of the handcrafted printmaking process
- Occasionally, a print may feel borderline or fall just outside our QC threshold while remaining an excellent and highly usable piece. When this happens, we'll let you know rather than simply discarding it. Depending on the nature of the imperfection, we may offer the print to you at a discount with the issue fully disclosed, or remake it at no additional cost.
You expect:
"This is a critical portfolio piece for a demanding client, and I want you to pursue an exceptionally clean final product."
We provide:
- Our enhanced inspection process for images that demand the highest gallery standards
- Prints are inspected under multiple lighting and viewing conditions with a substantially tighter tolerance for surface imperfections
- We will remake prints as necessary to meet our highest inspection standard
Note: Achieving this standard often requires multiple production attempts and dedicated material buffers. Expect pricing 2-5x Professional Standard, depending on medium, size, and artwork complexity. Please contact us to discuss your project and expectations.
We also offer custom work/quality control scopes -- let us know what your expectations are, and we will tailor our offerings so you (and/or your client) love your print, and we feel properly compensated for our work. When everyone's expectations match, we all win.
